Matt has been on staff at Immanuel since July 2006. His favorite quote is "The gospel is the craziest thing I have ever heard in my life. And it is true!" (A Gospel Primer for Christians, pg. 96) And he wants everday of his life to reflect that reality. Matt's interests include football, movies, playing rugby, listening to sermons and spending time with his family. He and his wife, Kim, have four daughters (Maddy, Elly, Annie, Maicy) and a yellow lab (Lucy).
Ben has been on staff at Immanuel since July 2010. Since arriving at Immanuel Ben has still not developed the necessary love for hunting and fishing that true northern Michiganders possess, but he has grown to love the people, the scenery, and the burgers at Slabtown. He and his wife, Janet, have three children: Isaac, Micah, and Claire. They enjoy spending loud evenings at home, dancing and singing to such classics as "Five Little Monkeys" and "John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt".
